The journal publish the original discussion or polemical articles, consultations, survey articles, book reviews, and annotations in the English language.

The Politická ekonomie - Political Economy provides an open forum for presenting high-quality research on economic policies. The journal publishes analytical theoretical and empirical studies in monetary theory, fiscal policy, financial regulation, financial stability, international finance, global trade, collective decision-making, economic behavior, international markets and institutions, investments and global economics, labor economics, social economics, and sustainable development policies. The submissions are encouraged to focus on all aspects of the economic policies of national and multinational economic authorities, including achieving the sustainable development goals of international organizations. Original and innovative work that explores new approaches and methodologies is welcome. The authors are encouraged to present alternative views on current and historical economic problems. The journal is also open to submissions in economic history and the history of economic thought relevant to economic policy issues. The Politická ekonomie - Political Economy expects to receive single-country, comparative, and global policy-oriented research focusing on European realities.

The journal also presents information about scientific life and new interesting economic literature published. The main aim of the Politická ekonomie - Political Economy is to publish articles that will be interesting to both theoretically and practically directed readers.

The reviewing process is double blind, takes about four months.
